Baseball Analytics

Before starting graduate school, I worked in baseball operations for the Washington Nationals (2015–2016), and interned for both Baseball Prospectus and FanGraphs before that.

I’ve also taught the Baseball Analytics course at Tufts University (2018, with Andy Andres), and have mentored several students who have gone on to work for Major League Baseball teams.

During the pandemic, I wrote a number of articles for Jim Albert’s blog, Baseball with R, exploring baseball data using R.

I don’t work on baseball analytics as a primary research focus anymore, but I’m always happy to discuss one-off projects — feel free to reach out.
